How a round works

Ready, three, two, one. Go.

  1. The countdown before a round

    Get the letter

    Ready, then three, two, one. The letter lands in its ring and the sixty seconds start. Today's letter stays hidden until then, so nobody prepares.

  2. A round in play with six answers in

    Fill the nine

    A name, a colour, a country and six more, each starting with that letter. The nine change every day and two of them are Specials, worth double.

  3. Results: each answer with its points and how they add up

    Watch it score

    Answers turn over one by one, each with its points and why, and the total counts up. A small slip in spelling still counts, for a little less.
